The first book I read to 4B during Reading Period was Wayside School. Everyone really liked it. Louis Sacher is a really funny writer and he has a good imagination!
The next book I read in 4B was The Little Broomstick, by Mary Stewart. It was a perfect story to read just before Halloween. I was glad everyone liked it, because I liked it when I was in grade four! I liked how Mary and the other boy met and outsmarted the witches.
Next, I read Danny, Champion of the World. Sometimes we laughed our heads off at that book! Roald Dahl made it really entertaining.
The next book I read was Mr. Popper's Penguins. Everyone in grade four seemed to really like it. I liked how it was written by a husband and wife team.
The most recent book I read to 4B during Reading Period was The Secret Garden. It took a really long time to finish, but I think everyone liked it. Now we're watching the film version and we've noticed lots of differences between the novel and the film, but it's still a really good film.
I'm not sure what I'll read next, but I'm leaning towards Airborne by Kenneth Oppel. I LOVE that book!

Hey everyone in 4B! We've been reading Airborn for a week now, and I'd like to know how you like it. Do you think it has a good plot? Realistic characters? ROMANCE??? It won the Governor General's award for Children's Fiction, so it is definitely considered to be a good book. Please give me your feedback! -Mrs. Boyd
